By accessing or using the IIEA E-Academy platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not access or use the platform.
IIEA E-Academy is a digital learning platform offering professional training in insurance, financial services, and related disciplines.
The Insurance Institute of East Africa (IIEA) is an accredited training provider approved by the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) — Ref: NITA/TRN/1365.
You must be at least 18 years of age or have appropriate authorization.
You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Each user must register for an account to access courses.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Sharing login credentials is strictly prohibited.
IIEA reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse.
Course access is granted for the specified duration of the programme.
Courses are for personal or organizational learning use only.
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or resale of course content is prohibited.
All course fees are clearly indicated on the platform or official communication channels.
For Kenya-based participants:

For international participants:

Organizations may receive customized invoicing and payment arrangements.
Fees paid are generally non-refundable once access to the course has been granted.
In exceptional circumstances, refund requests may be reviewed at IIEA’s discretion.
IIEA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule programmes and will provide appropriate alternatives where applicable.
Certificates are issued upon successful completion of course requirements, including assessments where applicable.
Some programmes may offer dual certification with international partners.
Certificates are issued digitally and may be verified by IIEA.
Learners must complete all assessments honestly.
Any form of cheating, impersonation, or misconduct may result in disqualification without refund.
Proctored examinations may be used to ensure integrity.
All course materials, content, and platform elements are the intellectual property of IIEA or its partners.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
IIEA strives to ensure continuous access but does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may result in temporary downtime.
IIEA shall not be liable for:
Any indirect or consequential losses
Technical interruptions beyond its control
Misuse of the platform by users
Use of the platform is at your own risk.
User data is collected and processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Personal information will be used solely for learning, certification, and administrative purposes.
IIEA does not sell or misuse user data.
IIEA reserves the right to suspend or terminate access if:
Terms are violated
Fees are unpaid
Fraudulent or unethical behavior is detected
IIEA may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
